Accessibility Statement

The YSMBAC website has been coded so that as many people as possible may access the site and the information contained within. Features Include:

1) Access keys

Access keys allow navigation via computer keyboard short cuts. The access key is usually the alt key on Windows computers, and the control key on Apple Macintosh computers.

Access keys have been defined for the accessibility statement, home page and switching between the text and graphical version.

Type your access key plus:

• 0 (zero) - for this Accessibility statement
• h - for the Home page
• c - for the Terms of Use
• t - to switch between the text only and graphical version

2) CSS & xHTML

Strict use of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) for all layout. No tables are used for layout purposes.

Valid XHTML and valid CSS as specified by the W3C

3) Browsers

Full support for non-graphical browsers

4) Text Only Version

A text only version of the full web site is available by clicking the text version link at the foot of the page or using the access key t.

5) Printing

A seperate style sheet for print has been included so printed pages contain only the relevant information a user wishes to print.

6) Other

Where necessary we have also used:

1. textual equivalents of all information conveyed by images.
2. the 'title' attribute within links to convey extra information for screen readers.
3. proper document order with use of header tags to convery document structure.
