To grow or not to grow?
'D' has developed her business well and it has now reached that pinnacle stage of potential development. After putting together a loyal team of colleagues and staff and increasing her client base including some International contracts, she concluded that she enjoys running the business as much as working in it. Ideas of re-branding the business were considered to provide a coherent process for development that clients would understand and be happy with. It was time to speak to her business adviser to consider her options. Through the Mentoring process the adviser challenged her thoughts and discussed options for growth, some of which weren’t immediately obvious. 'D' used Networking effectively to obtain key supplier contacts that are helping her create the new image. With her business adviser she started looking at effective options for marketing, particularly using PR to its best advantage. Plans were made to ensure that the growth strategy is properly managed and, in conjunction with her business plan, aimed at achieving the necessary objectives. 'D' has embarked on her growth path and agrees that the Mentoring process has helped immensely to keep her focussed and that the relationship developed with her business adviser means that she can always get an experienced and independent view of her thoughts and actions to use in conjunction with her business.
